Here at Montana’s Yellowstone Country, we are dedicated to sharing the “Beyond Yellowstone” experience—while communicating our respect and admiration for wild things and wild places—with the wanderlusters, nature lovers, adventure seekers, and curious travelers of the world.
Our function is to broaden the national park experience to encompass what can be found outside the park in Montana’s Yellowstone Country. We do this by promoting our five-county region (Gallatin, Park, Sweet Grass, Stillwater and Carbon) as a year-round leisure destination to resident and nonresident visitors, while encouraging respect for our outstanding natural environment and quality of life. In short, we seek responsible recreators.
As a visitor-focused organization in Montana’s Yellowstone Country, you are an integral part of Montana’s travel industry, which supported an estimated 43,900 jobs for Montanans and contributed $5.8 billion to our state’s economy in 2022. As you know, marketing our communities and unparalleled outdoor experiences helps bring visitors to browse to our local shops, dine at our restaurants and cafes and book rooms at our lodging facilities—all of which helps keep these amenities available for us to enjoy as residents.
Through pandemic, fire and flood, you’ve kept visitors and residents at the heart of everything you do. And so have we. Community pride runs deep here, and discovery is a joint effort.
