Agritourism Grant Program Opens Sept. 24, 2025
The Montana Department of Commerce is set to release a new agritourism grant program designed to support rural, tribal and agricultural businesses by assisting them with diversifying operations, enhancing agritourism opportunities and generating tourism revenue for the benefit of Montana communities.
Eligible recipients include:
- Local, city, county and consolidated governments
- Schools, universities and colleges
- Tribal governments
- Tribal members
- Montana residents
- Montana businesses, including not-for-profits
Eligible uses include:
- Advertising and marketing
- Experiences or activities
- Business planning and development
- Education outreach
- Safety and accessibility additions or improvements
Grants will be awarded up to $50,000 on a reimbursement basis. Projects up to $10K do not require match funding. Projects from $10,001 to $50K require a 1:1 match funding.
