Applications Open for Planning Grants
The Montana Department of Commerce is accepting grant applications for the planning grant segment of the Opportunities in Rural Economies (ORE) Program. The program provides matching grant funds of up to $50,000 for programs yielding economic impact for rural communities.
Funds can be used for planning projects such as feasibility studies, preliminary architecture and engineering studies, and preparing for business improvement districts or industrial development.
Applications are due by Sunday, Dec. 7. Additional information, eligibility criteria and guidelines are available at commerce.mt.gov.
