Collecting All Mural Information!

ICYMI…Montana Main Street is collecting an inventory of local murals, particularly those created as part of revitalization efforts. If your town has local murals, please send the following information to Micky Zurcher, Micky.Zurcher@mt.gov.

• Location of the mural. Be specific.
• Does the mural have an official name or title?
• When was the mural painted, and by whom? If it is a historic mural that has been restored, please provide the original dates/artist (if available), as well as the restoration information.
• How was the mural funded? What was the cost?
• If there is a story behind the mural, please share that with us in 100 words or fewer.
• Finally, please include a photograph of the mural.
  • If professionally taken, indicate whether you are permitting Commerce to use the photograph.
  • Also, provide the name of the photographer and the approximate date of the picture.
• If no photograph is available, include a brief description of the mural (size, subject, condition, etc.).
