Get to Know Your Neighbors: Three Forks!
Three Forks is gaining popularity as a lovely alternative to the busier areas of Bozeman and Belgrade. For one, the recreation is fantastic. With proximity to three main rivers, three state parks, a fabulous trail system, a golf course, and Three Forks Pond, it's an excellent place for families to get out and enjoy Montana.
It's also becoming a music hub. Two long-running festivals, Rockin' the Rivers and Headwaters Country Jam, draw crowds from around the state for three days of music, camping and genuine good times. Rappin' the Rivers joins the lineup for a second year, and Bridger Brewing's new amphitheater will host a summer concert series beginning May 17.
Speaking of Bridger Brewing, their pub serves more than just great beer; they have thin-cut, street-style meats from local ranchers and butchers, plus veggies, cheeses and other goodies from local farmers, and craft cocktails to round it out.
A new brewery, Sawdust and Steel, is another locally owned, no-frills brewery with some great beers. For comfort food, including their famous pies, check out Iron Horse Restaurant, and for fine dining, Pompey's Grill in the historic Sacajawea Inn is the place to go.
Just down the road in Willow Creek, Aunt Dofe's Gallery is a contemporary gallery offering studio space and opportunities for artists in residence. Check out their rotating exhibits and stop at the Willow Creek Café for their famous ribs afterward!
