Increased Visitation to Yellowstone Park and Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport

Yellowstone National Park saw another record month of visitation in June with 928,250 visitors, a 1% increase over June 2024, and a 1% decrease from June 2021. To date, the Park's recreational visits are up 4% over 2024, and up 6% from 2021 numbers.

Air travel to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport continues to grow, with June 2025 numbers up 7.7% over 2024. We're thrilled to see that Alaska Airlines’ direct flight to Boise, Idaho, will return Oct. 5, 2025, for service through April 21, 2026. The airport’s expansion project is well underway, with a projected completion date of 2030.
